Manchester City have been heavily linked with a move for Harry Kane and Jack Grealish this summer.

The Premier League champions could now offload some of their fringe players to fund both transfers.

According to reports, Manchester City are looking to raise a substantial amount of money by selling five of their fringe players.

Sterling had a mediocre season with City last year, and the arrival of Harry Kane will undoubtedly push Gabriel Jesus out of the starting lineup. It is understandable why Manchester City would look to cash in on the two players.

Furthermore, the arrival of Grealish will limit the game time of Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez.

As far as Laporte is considered, he has fallen down the pecking order at Etihad following the arrival of Ruben Dias.

According to reports, the five players could fetch around £260 million this summer, and it will be interesting to see if Manchester City can get rid of them in the coming weeks.

Harry Kane would be a stunning addition to the Manchester City attack, especially as a replacement for Sergio Aguero, who left the club on a free transfer earlier this summer.

The England international is thought to be frustrated with the lack of trophies at Tottenham, and he is angling for a move away from the London club.

Meanwhile, Jack Grealish has established himself as one of the best playmakers in the Premier League, and he could be the long term replacement for David Silva.
