Conte wants Eriksen-Fred swap deal with Manchester United

Antonio Conte could part ways with Inter Milan after just one season

Inter Milan signed Christian Eriksen from Tottenham in January this year and they would have expected a lot more from the player when they decided to spend 17.5 million pounds on him.

The 28 year old midfielder has struggled to adapt to Italian football and he has not managed to make the desired impact so far. It seems that the Italian club are now losing patience with him and they are ready to cash in on him soon.

According to reports, Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte is interested in signing Fred from Manchester United and he could propose a swap deal involving Christian Eriksen.

The former Tottenham player was a star in the Premier League during his time in England and it will be interesting to see if such a proposal can tempt Manchester United.

Eriksen is still a top class player despite his struggles in Italy and a return to the Premier League might allow him to regain his form.

Apparently, Arsenal are in the race to sign the Danish international as well and it will be interesting to see where the playmaker ends up eventually.

Eriksen needs to join a club where he can play regular first team football and it remains to be seen how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can accommodate  him in the Manchester United starting  lineup especially with Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek already at his disposal.
