Napoli didn’t stop there as midfielder Demme went on to score the third goal before Andrea Petagna making it 4-0 in injury time.
The Neopolitan have been brimming with confidence following a huge win against tough-looking Roma last week and now followed by another comprehensive win today.
Gennaro Gattuso’s men are now third in the Serie A table and trailing Inter Milan by a point.
Speaking after the win, the Italian gaffer demanded more consistency from his players.
“I compliment the team, because the 4-0 result is as always not a fair reflection and we did have some struggles.
It became simpler when they went down to 10 men, but it’s not easy to play every three days when you return home at 5 am.
“We have to provide consistency. We’ve done some good things, we earned 21 points on the pitch, that’s not a small amount.”
