The Belgian striker has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a summer transfer, with Chelsea turning out to be one of the interested parties.

According to reports, In a bid to retain their key player, Inter Milan have slapped a price tag of around 100m pounds on Lukaku.

The Nerazzurri have recently parted ways with Achraf Hakimi, who joined PSG for a reported fee of 71m euros, and they do not want to sell an in-form Lukaku.

The Blues are in the market for a new striker and have been continuously linked with Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

However, their chances to sign the Norwegian striker are withering as Die Borussen wants to keep hold of him beyond this summer.

It has forced Thomas Tuchel’s side to look for alternatives elsewhere, and they are interested in signing Lukaku, whom they parted ways with back in 2014.

The 28-year-old has now become one of the best strikers in Europe following his back to back stellar seasons at Inter. He was also the driving force behind the Nerazzurri’s Scudetto-winning campaign last term, eventually winning the league’s MVP award.

Lukaku translated his form to the national team in European Championship, scoring 4 goals in 5 appearances and was also named in the team of the tournament despite Belgium’s elimination in the quarter-finals.

Defending Serie A champions Inter will be heading into the new season under new manager Simone Inzaghi, who has made it clear that Lukaku will be central to his plans.
