Inter were held to a draw by Lazio in a chaotic game.

Inter Milan have picked up a draw against Lazio in a chaotic Serie A game at Stadio Olimpico.

As expected, Lautaro Martinez provided the breakthrough for the visitors at the half-hour mark as his strike rolled past the sloppy-looking Strakosha.

The Argentine has now scored in all the games in Serie A this season.

Inter had a great chance to double the lead in the opening minutes of the second half as Lukaku and Martinez combined for another instance. However, the Belgian striker fired his shot wide.

Not long after, Lazio found the equalizer after midfielder Sergej Milinkovic – Savic found a header, benefitting from Franco Acerbi’s cross.

While both the teams went in search of the winning goal, Lazio striker Ciro Immobile was sent off for hitting Arturo Vidal in the face. Soon, Inter made it all square after Stefano Sensi received the red card after his foul on Patric.

Prior to the second red card incident, the Nerazzurri were close to finding their second goal before Marcelo Brozovic’s strike hit the post.

Inter could be happy with the draw while it wouldn’t be the exact feeling for Simone Inzaghi’s side, who have dropped points in their last two games in Serie A.

Meanwhile, Antonie Conte is yet to see a defeat as their start to Serie A this season looks impressive.

Inter will face their arch-rivals AC Milan in the derby after the international break.
