Milan and Roma share points after six-goal thriller

Zlatan Ibrahimovic-AC Milan

A late goal from Marash Kumbulla earns a draw for AS Roma.

Milan have played out 3-3 draw in what turned out as an exciting Serie A contest at San Siro.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the opening goal to put Milan ahead soon as the game started. Rafael Leao found Zlatan through a chipped pass over the backline of Roma before the Swede turned it to the nets.

Roma found the equalizer minutes later through Edin Dzeko from a set piece. Ciprian Tatarusanu, the goalkeeper of Milan, made a poor decision to catch the ball ahead of the others only for him to watch it find Dzeko’s header into the empty nets.

Alexis Saelemaekers doubled the lead for Milan at the start of the second half, which served as the starting point for things to follow.

Roma once again found the equalizer from the penalty spot, this time was done by Veretout before it was cancelled out by another penalty strike from Ibrahimovic. Although the referee’s decision was harsh, Ibrahimovic completed his double for the night.

While everything looked in favour of the hosts, then came the equalizing goal from centre-back Marash Kumbulla at the 84th minute from another corner kick.

The goal marked the final one for the night as both the sides shared points after the draw

Milan could have scored in the injury time when Romagnoli fired his header wide.

Rossoneri have dropped points for the first time this season and despite it, they are still the leaders of the table at the moment.
