Wolves and Ajax target Inter Milan midfielder Eriksen

Conte urged Eriksen to 'raise level' to get a start at Inter

Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen is targeted by a host of clubs including English side Wolves and Dutch champions Ajax.

The Danish playmaker who signed for Inter Milan just a year ago has struggled for game-time in Antonio Conte’s setup this season. Since his arrival, the 28-year-old has struggled to adapt to Antonio Conte’s system. And now he has been told that he is surplus to requirements and can look for a new club this month.

Plenty of clubs are credited with being interested in his services, but Wolves and Ajax have been pinpointed as the most recent suitors for the playmaker. As reported, both clubs have contacted his agent Gianluca Di Marzio about a possible transfer.

Wolves who are struggling to create goals this season are said to be in the hunt for his signature to ease their goal-scoring burdens while Ajax are said to be interested in bringing back Eriksen who is an Ajax academy graduate.

Although things have not gone so well for Eriksen at the San Siro since his move 12 months ago, both clubs still believe that he can rediscover his Tottenham form, which saw him become the player with the most assists for Tottenham in the Premier League.

The Danish international has played a total of 64 minutes in the Serie A this season and is said to favour a move away from the San Siro just 12 months after agitating for a move away from London.

Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, West-Ham and Real Madrid are other sides also credited with an interest in Eriksen.
