The summer transfer window might have closed, but Premier League clubs are allowed to sign free agents and also players from the EFL market, whose window closes next week.

Here are the top 10 free agents who could sign for Premier League clubs.

Daniel Sturridge

The former Liverpool star saw his contract get terminated prematurely in march by Trabzonspor. After that, he also received a ban for breaching the betting rules, but he is now relieved to play again. Sturridge has previously stated that he would like to make a return to the Premier While Sheffield United have registered an interest in him.

Nathaniel Clyne

Another ex-Liverpool star is available for free after the club decided not to extend his contract beyond this summer. Having been ravaged by injuries for a while, Clyne could move to Crystal Palace after training with them over the past few weeks.

Danny Welbeck

Welbeck was released by Watford after just one season, where he managed to find the nets only two times. The former Arsenal star never had a career up to his promises, but he still can be a worthy addition to any of the top-flight clubs.

Ezequiel Garay

The Argentine centre-back was released by Valencia at his own request after suffering an ACL. With loads of experience under his belt, he could still make a name for himself in the Premier League.

Jack Wilshere

Mario Mandzukic

Mandzukic has been available for free since his contract termination with Al-Duhail. The former Croatian international has plied his trade across Europe’s top leagues all but the Premier League.

Alexandre Pato

Pato is not a strange name amongst Premier League fans as he had a short loan stint at Chelsea in 2016. The Brazilian ace is another free who recently played for Sao Paulo. It remains to be seen whether he could make a return to England.

Fabio Borini

Having played recently for Hellas Verona, the former Chelsea player is in the lookout for a new club. Borini is 29 and he still can be a hand player in the Premier League.
