International break paints a clearer picture for England regarding Euros selection

UEFA Nations League Unimpressive England held to a goalless draw against Denmark

With the international break now over, the players have all returned to their respective clubs for the resumption of the Premier League.

The international break however gave us all a clearer picture of where every member of the England squad stands with respect to the Euros.

Judging by the performances of the players, an assumption can be made about which player is going to be at the Euros and which players will have to work harder to make the cut.

For example, the likes of Pickford will have to work harder in order to get into the starting lineup after the impressive performances from Nick Pope.

Dean Henderson faces an uphill battle especially because he is not playing regularly at the club level.

Similarly, the likes of Alexander-Arnold showed that they are clearly favourites to be selected.

The likes of Keane, Trippier, Walker, Chilwell etc have all done well and they will have a great chance of making the cut.

Liverpool’s Joe Gomez has some work to do along with Manchester United’s Harry Maguire. Both players need to improve their current form.

The likes of Sancho, Kane, Sterling are surely favourites to be selected. But the likes of Abraham, Rashford will have to work hard.

Jack Grealish, Mason Mount, Coady and Rice have all impressed with their strong showing.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is surely one of the favourites to be on the plane as well along with the likes of Eric Dier.
