Roy Krishna scored the only goal of the game for Mohun Bagan on the 67th minute.

Kerala Blasters dominated the proceedings in the opening quarter of an hour but they struggled to create too many chances and threaten the Mohun Bagan defence.

Mohun Bagan and had their first chance of the game on the 28th minute when McHugh headed past the near post from Garcia’s corner.

Kerala Blasters missed a glorious chance to take the lead 37 minutes into the game but Ritwik failed to convert from two yards out.

The home side enjoyed 62% bold possession in the first half but they will be disappointed with their chance creation in the final third.

Antonio Habas will be delighted with his team’s start to the Indian Super League and they will be hoping to build some momentum in the coming weeks.

At the same time, Michael Soosairaj was forced to be withdrawn just after 14 minutes of the match due to an injury. ATK and Habas will be hoping that his injury is not a serious one.
