Goa 3-1 Kerala: Igor Angulo inspires Goa to a comfortable win

Igor Angulo-FC Goa

FC Goa picked up 3-1 win over Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League earlier tonight.

Igor Angulo scored the opening goal of the game on the 30th minute to break the deadlock for Goa.

The Goa forward did well to chip the ball over the keeper to give his side the lead.

FC Goa had the chance to take the lead early on in the game but they hit the crossbar twice in the first half.

Ortiz extended Goa’s advantage in the second half with his strike on the 52nd minute.

He did well to take a turn and swivel away from Costa after an intelligent ball from Brandon into the Kerala Box.

Kerala had the chance to get back into the game around the hour mark but Vicente’s effort hit the crossbar.

Vicente had another chance to bring Kerala back into the game on the 90th minute and this time he managed to convert.

FC Goa wrapped up the scoring deep into injury time when Igor Angulo scored his second of the game.

Kerala had to play the last few minutes with ten men after Costa received his second yellow of the game and was sent off.

Igor Angulo is now on top of the scoring charts with five goals from four matches. He will be hoping to guide his side to glory in the Indian Super League this year.
