Next season of the Indian Super League will be held in Goa the authorities have confirmed.

The 7th season of the competition Will be held in three different venues – the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Fatorda, the GMC Stadium in Bambolim, the Tilak maidan stadium in Vasco.

FDSL plans to work closely with the Goa Sports Authority and the Goa Football Association to ensure that the season is carried out within the regulations of the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking to the media about the new season of the Indian Super League, The founder and chairperson of FDSL, Mrs Nita Ambani said: “I am delighted to bring the ISL Season 7 to the state of Goa, from where we had left the action last season. Congratulations to the beautiful state of Goa and their passionate fans of football, as they once again become the epicentre of the beautiful game in India.”

ATK managed to win the competition last season, and it will be interesting to see which team goes on to lift the coveted prize this year.

As per the reports, every ISL team will be provided with a separate training pitch to minimise contact and stop the spreading of the virus. Also, the games will be held behind closed doors just like European football.
