The race for the 2021-22 Golden Boot is well underway, and the top strikers across Europe are battling it out for the coveted prize.
Last season Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski picked up the accolade after scoring a remarkable 41 goals. It will be interesting to see whether the Polish international can replicate the feat once again this year.
Lewandowski will be competing with top-class attackers like Dusan Vlahovic, Karim Benzema, Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland for the European Golden Boot, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top eventually.
While Lewandoski has started the season in red hot form, the likes of Salah and Benzema have been at their best this year as well.
It seems that the race for the Golden Boot could go down to the wire, and here at Anytime football, we look at the top 20 goalscorers from across Europe’s top five leagues right now.
